Three Years and Counting

For 3 years now, I’ve been photographing the Browns.  The first time was when little Jonathan was 8 weeks old, now he’s 3 years old.  My how time flies!  I’ve been able to capture birthday parties, Easter egg hunts & various family get-togethers; all of which have been chronicled in a yearly photo book.  Since I don’t live with them I can’t be at all of the family events, so the ones that I do miss they capture & I add to their book.  What a wonderful, ongoing relationship, which I truly cherish.  We always have a great deal of fun & get some great shots.  One of the highlights of my year is designing their photo book!   Below are some of the images from the session.  Enjoy!

I am a married, mother of one & a passionate photographer. I've been shooting since I was 11 & am mostly self-taught. Attended the Art Institute of Atlanta to further hone my skills & in 2003 decided to start my own photography business, working part-time. In 2005 I was able to start working full-time & I love it. During my growth phase, I was vacillating between the types of photography I wanted to do. After several sessions, I realized that I wanted to specialize in children & couples. I still photograph other subjects, but those two are my favorites. At any rate, it's all about the relationship between my subjects & me & capturing those special moments.
