This past Saturday (June 19th) I had a wonderful session with a beautiful little girl named York. She had a sweet personality & wonderful spirit. What I noticed right off were her beautiful eyes. I am an admirer of eyes & she has some of the most gorgeous hazel eyes. Being eight years old she followed directions very well, but also had some good ideas of her own. I could see her inner model/performer coming out as the session progressed. There would be times when she’d just fall into a beautiful pose & all I had to do was snap.
Even though it was hot, she was a trooper! We were able to get some great shots & have fun at the same time. During the shoot, she would find fascinating things in nature & would want to share with me & her mother. That’s why I love shooting outdoors. You get beautiful scenery as well as opportunities for children to be children.
