Something New, Part Deux

This past Saturday I had another Trash the Dress session.  We had an amazing time!  It was a little iffy at first because of the impending rain.  As we were driving to the location there were large, dark rain clouds hanging over us.  The weatherman predicted a 40% chance of late afternoon showers and of course the session was in the late afternoon.

Funny thing is we did drive through areas that were either drizzling or the rain had already passed.  When we got to the equestrian center, they were still cleaning up from the downpour.  It was humid, but cooled off quite well, which made the shoot even more enjoyable.  The bride said it was a first for her…going four-wheeling in a wedding gown!

Most of the session was done in rather secluded areas, but the last part of the session was in full view of other people.  The people were so nice.  As the people drove by they honked their horns and said things like “Congratulations!”, “You look beautiful!” and gave thumbs up.   Considering she’s been married for 4 years now, we thought it was rather funny.  At any rate, enjoy the images below.

About Ayesha

I am a married, mother of one & a passionate photographer. I've been shooting since I was 11 & am mostly self-taught. Attended the Art Institute of Atlanta to further hone my skills & in 2003 decided to start my own photography business, working part-time. In 2005 I was able to start working full-time & I love it. During my growth phase, I was vacillating between the types of photography I wanted to do. After several sessions, I realized that I wanted to specialize in children & couples. I still photograph other subjects, but those two are my favorites. At any rate, it's all about the relationship between my subjects & me & capturing those special moments.
